“Flower-Power” Poppy Seed Torte

6 eggs,
200g ground poppy seeds (grey),
100g ground almonds,
50g ground chocolate,
80g sugar,
100g icing sugar,
250 g butter (soft),
1 tbsp vanilla sugar,
peel of one orange and one lemon,
1 pinch of magic salt,
black currant fruit spread

250 g icing sugar,
2 tbsp water,
2 tbsp lemon juice,
1 tbsp Flower-Power blossom-spice blend,

Separate eggs. Combine poppy seeds, almond and chocolate.
Beat butter, sugar, salt, vanilla sugar, orange and lemon peel until light and fluffy.
Gradually add egg yolks and beat until combined and soft.
Beat egg whites and sugar until creamy and together with almond poppy seed mix fold into the butter mixture.
Pour into greased cake tin and bake at 160 °C for approx. 50 min. Leave in tin to cool. Take torte out of the tin, purée fruit spread, heat and put through a sieve.
Spread torte with fruit puree.
Icing: Combine ingredients to a paste and ice torte.
