Peppermint sorbet

A peppermint flavoured treat for all summer lovers.

Ingredients for ½ litre of sorbet:
400ml water
150g sugar
peppermint leaves, large bowl
2 peppermint tea bags
juice of ½ lemon

Preparation:
Boil sugar and water and set aside to cool. Put just enough peppermint leaves into the sugar syrup to be covered by the liquid. Put tea bags into the liquid and leave in for one day. Stir, strain and add lemon juice. Pre-chill liquid in the refrigerator or freezer - if available, freeze liquid in an ice machine or put in the freezer overnight.
